My wife and I were so very sorry to learn of Dave’s passing.
He was a guy whose personality would fill up the whole room, his energy was infectious.
But he was also a guy that would pull you aside just to get caught up on each other’s kids or TaeKwonDo or simply to see how you were doing.
Our prayers and thoughts go out to Pam and the kids.
May his memory be eternal.

Pam, Adam, and Noah-
My heart is so sad every time I think about Dave being gone. I still find it hard to believe. I have so many great memories of Dave. He was a friend/2nd Dad to me when I lived up North. He would give me so much raz about being from a small town and even attempted to gift me a tractor tire for our wedding. I was late to my interview w/him, b/c I was used to the ‘mile a minute’ rule in the Hicks (as he’d say) & I showed up 45 minutes late. Oops! Traffic is ridiculous up there, haha. He helped me buy my 1st car on my own (ok, he did all the talking). One time, to get back at me for filling his office with jelly beans everywhere, he gave me my Christmas bonus in nickels and dimes..$750 in change! Try explaining that deposit to the bank! We had a lot of fun at DD&A. I learned SO much from him and will forever appreciate the experiences and time I had at Dave’s office. He was one of a kind, and will be missed so much. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. ❤️

Danzig family,
There are no words to express my/my familys sorrow. I first met David on the trading floor and needless to say, we had a lot of friends in common. Having also living in Highland Park and all of the commonality we shared–he was larger than life and will be truly missed.
If there is anything my family or I can ever do to provide some comfort or help to you, we would be honored to do so, please let me/us know.
We are sending our deepest condolences to all of you–

Mrs Danzig, Adam, and Noah,
Mr Danzig (as I always called him because I’m from Texas) always insisted I called him Dave. I believe it was because his spirit was truly one of a friend, a man who wanted to help others, and he wanted to remove any barrier from me knowing that and make me feel comfortable. I enjoyed training him (and occasionally with him at his insistence) so much. His personality was always on full display in the gym and he was truly one of my favorite people I’ve met in Chicago.
He took the time to continue to check on my family, myself, and of course my training over the years. I’m grateful for his friendship and grateful for who he was. Praying God wraps you up in His peace.

Dear Pam, Noah and Adam,
We are incredibly sad for you;Dave was an amazing man, husband and dad and I know his memory will live on with each of you. Jake was fond of Dave. His strength and words were welcomed by him and will now be cherished. Tony thought he was a GREAT GUY! He often said he was ‘his kind of guy’. I feel fortunate that I was able to enjoy Sr Spring break together and get to know the gentle and kind side of Dave. He had a bigger than life persona with a heart of gold. His kindness was gentle and I feel lucky to have enjoyed a few 1:1 talks with him. You all have a giant angel watching over you now. Sending strength and love to you now and always. Pam, Adam and Noah,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I will always remember my time working with Dave at Galen’s in Lincolnwood and the crazy tricks he always played on me. Then again later in life when I got to meet Pam and the friendship we shared as couples when our kids were little together.
May his memory be a blessing.
Sending much love,

I was a friend of Dave’s at Evanston High School. He was a fabulous swimmer and I watched many of the meets. He was in my physics class and loved to cause trouble. He drove with three other friends to Michigan for a weekend to visit ETHS friends who were studying there. He was fun, friendly and had the best smile.
I hope your fond memories of him will be of comfort during this difficult time.

I’d like to share with his family how much I enjoyed working w/ DD. His understanding of his industry, his infectious energy, and straightforward approach was much appreciated. I loved getting his viewpoints on our benefits approach, but I really more enjoyed getting his perspective on UFC and Panerai watches. Your father / husband was a man’s man, and I will miss him.

Pam, Noah, and Adam,
Our prayers are with you and your family as you transition through this difficult time. Dave was a great light in an otherwise challenging world. He brought levity and energy to every discussion and we owe an enormous amount of gratitude for the savings and benefits he and Patrick fought for our company GovQA for so many years. He will be missed but never forgotten.
Respectfully,

This is an incredibly sad day for everyone that knew this wonderful man. I had the pleasure of first meeting David 20 years ago. We established a good relationship quickly. Soon thereafter my wife worked for him. She was one of many that assisted him in running his significant business. My daughter even baby sat for his 2 wonderful boys.
I would define him as tough yet at the same time, as a gentle giant.
Every time we spoke was a wonderful experience.
Over the last few years we spoke and saw each other less.
He impacted the lives of all that were fortunate enough to know him.
He will be missed by all.
May his life be forever as a blessing. Our thoughts, prayers and condolences go out to Adam, Noah and to the love of his life Pam.
We are saddened by your loss.
